" Another 5 seconds to go! " I counted enthusiastically in my heart as I scrutinized my watch.
Just as the blaring alarm went off, I pack my belongings into my bag hastily, getting ready to go home. Everyone was busy with their packing and the class was in a boisterous state. Books and pens falling off the tables, zipping of bags and the shrilling noise made by the friction when a chair is pushed back were heard. As I stood up, a boy panting excessively with beads of sweats trickling down his chin came stumbling into the classroom.

"Miss Ang!" he shouted, calling out to my teacher.
" Please hurry and fo..follow me! Som..something bad has hap..happened!" He stuttered out words which sounds like he had an apple stuck in his throat.
The atmosphere in the classroom was soon surged into an stiff, icy cold one, with everyone attention's on the boy.
"Calm down Benedict"
"What happened?" Miss Ang calmed the panic-striken boy.
Benedict retorted, "No! Hurry and follow me!"
Upon finishing his words, he ran out of the classroom and signaled us to hurry with a ghastly paled look on him.

Everyone in the class was startled. Miss Ang expeditiously stormed out of the classroom, giving Benedict a chase. I followed too. I could see a girl lying flat, seemingly unconscious down the aisle outside the classroom as I hurtled out. I was petrified by the sight of blood streaming out from the girl's head. My legs started to get wobbly and fear was knotting in my stomach as I went closer to the scene.

I was afraid of the sight of blood since young.

"Anna dropped into coma right after coming out of the washroom!", wet strands of hair plastered down his forehead and dripping into his eyes as Benedict explained.
"When she falls, her head knocked onto the edge of the wall and blood started cascading off from her head." Benedict's head and body jerk while he stared at the blood.

The scene was teeming with curiousity students, it was claustrophobic and the noise made it worse.

Soon, our school's operation manager came and hustle them to go off, and had already called the ambulance. I was busy fanning Anna's head with my twilight storybook while trying to avoid the pool of bright red blood which glitters in the glaring sunlight.

The siren of an ambulance was heard and we had to help carry Anna up. I was shaking tremendously as I carried Anna, blood stained my shirt but I did not care. All I knew was to get Anna up to the ambulance as quick as possible.

The ambulance drove out of the school gate, with a right turn and it was out of sight. I was still worried for Anna, hoping she would be fine. Then I noticed that both my hands and shirt were engulfed in fresh blood, I almost fainted.

A week later, Anna was back in school. I knew it because Miss Ang told me and I went to look for her. She was reading a book quietly in the library and I approached her.
"Hey, you look good." words drifted from my mouth quietly.
"Hey! It's you. I haven't got the chance to thank you for helping me. So ya.. Thank you!" she exclaimed out loud, and everyone in the library were looking at us.

We then walked to the food stalls and got ourselves some food to eat. I was telling her how terrified I was when I saw the pool of blood forming at her head and that was when she accidentally cut her finger and blood started oozing out. I promptly took out my clean cloth and wrap it around her finger, trying to stop the bleed.
"So are you still intimidated by blood?" Anna quipped, with a wide grin on her face.
"Definitely no, not anymore!" I boasted.
During one of your project group meetings, one of your members suddenly exclaimed that he had received an urgent telephone call and had to leave at once. However, the deadline for submission was in two days' time. Give a full account on how the matter was resolved.

Boisterous atmosphere filled the ambience, where we discussed heartily for our project work.
"John!" Jessica, hollered, followed by was a tight slap onto John's back.
"Will you stop fooling around? The deadline for submission is due in two days time and you are still lazing around!" Michelle snarled, staring vehemently at John.
"Ouch!" John shrilled "Alright, fine. I will......" he dragged the word and suffered another onslaught from Jessica.

"Everyone, now I will allocate each of you a task to research on." Jessica exclaimed and soon, all of us were researching and getting as much information for the task we were appointed to.
The surrounding was a resemblance of a dead night, rigid and tranquil and that was when the silence was shattered into a loud shriek. "Hey people!" Elvis exclaimed.
"I need to leave at once, my mom called me up and told that my sister was admitted into the hospital due to an accident!" Elvis was shaking terribly as he speaks, face gone all white, as pale as a sheet of paper.
We were immensely shocked by the piece of news and hurried him to set off to the hospital.

Upon Elvis's disappearance, John started whining,
"Look! Now we have got one member short and the deadline is due in two days, how are we suppose to finish up?"
I calmed and assured John that we can finish this up if we split up the work which was supposed to be done by Elvis.
"Now, we will have to finish up our own assignment and then we will move on to clear up Elvis's workload. Simple as that and we will be in time for the submission." I assured John.
In an blink of eye, all of us had finished our task. The sun had started to crept down and gloomy dark clouds were in sights.
"Alright guys, since we have completed our own assignment and we have one more day before the deadline, we can meet up tomorrow and complete Elvis's work." I suggested, seeing that all of us were lethargic and feeling ravenous.
All of us agreed and headed off for home.

The following day was sunny and windy, a perfect weather for a soccer match but we had to help Elvis finished up his assignment.
"What a pity!" I groaned.
We had things moving on expeditiously and in an hour, we had completed all of Elvis's work and also did improvements on our own assignment.
"I'm really glad that we managed to complete the work in time and honestly, I think we did a pretty good job." Jessica expressed.
"I am surprised as well and I have learnt that with a good team spirit and cooperative members, nothing is impossible!" I added on.
John suddenly moaned "Okay, enough with the emotional part but my stomach is grumbling!" " Can we get ourselves some food?"
A loud slap was heard again, this time on John's thigh which remarkably left Jessica's full handprints on.
"I am hungry too, let's reward ourselves by having a sumptuous feast!" Jessica exclaimed.
"And you have to hit me for that?!" John wailed as we started packing and hurtled our way to the food mall.
One day, as you were visiting close friend at his/her place, you observed that there was a crack in one of the walls of his/her flat, and duly pointed it out to him/her. Write an account of your friend's reaction and how he/she resolved this matter.

Observing the surrounding as I progress towards Keith's house, young children were seen playing exhilaratingly near the park, old people playing chess calmingly under a hut . Just before I knew, I was already in front of the lift.
" Ding dong.. " goes the blaring doorbell and soon, a familiar face came into sight.
"Come on in Gabriel, make yourself feel free!" Keith exclaimed, with beads of sweat rolling down his face.

Upon stepping in, a gust of foul smell stirred up my nose.
"Oops sorry, I was doing some workout earlier on and didn't expect you to arrive earlier than my bath!" Keith quipped.
I guess he must have witnessed the distressed and uncomfortable feeling that was painting on my face.
"I didn't mean that bro, just that.."
"No worries, I will head for my shower now and for the mean time, you can watch the television first." Keith stopped me before I could barely finish my line.
I went splashing down onto the comfortable sofa while Keith headed into the bathroom. The shows that were airing were monotonous and I decided to take a trip and explore Keith's magnificent house. The house was exquisitely beautified by modern furnitures, white "L" shaped sofa coupled with a black glossy table in front of it where most of Keith's work are at, artistic painting are hung over the walls and as I walked down the aisle, I noticed a crack in one of the walls. I crept towards the crack and touched it with my bare hand, it was a rough and rocky feeling and that was when things started going wrong.

"Gabriel! What had you done to my wall!?" Keith bellowed, his face fuming red as he stomped his way to me
"What?!" I retorted "The crack was already there and stop the assumption!"
Keith was so mad that he resorted to violence and pushed me on my shoulders as he vociferate that I was the one who made the crack on the wall. We were both hot under the collar and the argument got more intense and we nearly broke into a fight and that is when Keith's sister, Alicia, came into the picture.
"I think I heard some arguing going on, are you guys alright?" came a velvety voice from Alicia.
"If its that loud to allow you to hear, so we aren't really alright." Keith shrugged.

Unwillingly, I started speaking first and told Alice what had happened and upon finishing my last sentence, Alice drifted out an "oops".
"That crack was actually left behind by my penknife while I was doing my projectwork with friends you see.." Alice spoke softly in dismay.
That was when we knew the exact story and I could see Keith in a guilty state, all embarrased.
"Sorry Gabriel, I had to admit my acts were too rash and started confronting you without believing you." Keith spoke with a remorseful tone.
"It's cool, don't worry."
"At least the clouds are clear now and comes the sunshine!" I exclaimed exhilaratingly.
Soon, we got ourself immerse into the video games and has got into appeasement. Amidst the gameplay, Keith suddenly took out a video game and handed it to me.
"I really hope you wouldn't take it to heart for the incident just now and as a apology, I would like you to have this!"
I was astounded as that video game was the latest and it wasn't available in local stores yet.
"Stop reiterating the word "sorry" !" I pleaded "You have at least said that for a thousand times, I swear!"
We both chuckled out and continue with our videogame and that is when I realised how important keeping calm and not be agitated when things goes wrong is.
